Officials are still working to figure out what may have caused the outages, but they do have troubleshooters at Lemon Grove & Canton avenues. It is the same area where a Ford white pickup truck crashed into a power pole and the driver left the scene, said the San Diego Sheriff’s Office.

SDG&E expects to have power for people living in Encanto, Emerald Hills and Valencia Park by 11 p.m. Saturday.

While residents in Lemon Grove, Paradise Hills, Skyline and Bay Terraces might have to wait until 11:30 p.m., according to SDG&E’s estimated time of restoration.
